Storage stays in the browser.
WaterEngineerLab is a local-first calculation site. Engineering inputs are used to compute a result on the page you are using.
What is stored
Closing the storage notice writes one preference in this browser so the notice stays closed. Released tool pages do not write catchment data, pipe sizes, pressures, or other engineering inputs into browser storage. That preference is not an advertising profile.
What is not collected for the calculation
The calculation flow does not send catchment data, pipe sizes, pressures, or other engineering inputs to a remote analytics service. The site does not sell personal information and it does not ask you to create an account.
Cookies and similar storage
The site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The notice at the bottom of the page describes the one local preference. The cookies and browser storage page lists that entry, the unused project-storage prefix in the client code, and how to clear it. Exporting a project downloads a file you choose to keep. It is not written as a cookie.
Pages and logs
A hosting provider may keep ordinary request logs, such as a page address and time, under its own operations policy. Those logs are not a copy of your calculation inputs. This site does not use them to build a design file.
